Why choose a Tribute Show about Richard &
Karen Carpenters (The Carpenters)

We have
been performing the songs of the Carpenters
for many years. We were asked to perform an
evening of Carpenters music which was a
phenomenal success, the costumes became a
natural progression.
Note: We are
legitimate
fans of
everything Carpenters. This is not a
performance thrown together to make a quick
buck or be disrespectful to the talent of
Richard Carpenter or the memory of Karen
Carpenter!

How long does your show last?
A
Performance times are as follows: 2 x 40min
spot or 1 x 60 min spot - Which ever
performance time you chose, there is a natural
break in the show and a costume
change is usually included at this point.

Do you have a
poster or Publicity Material?
A
Yes - We
have posters and sound samples available on
this site. If you require other publicity
material, please let us know and we will do
our best to provide these to you.
Yes, we are fully self-contained. We
have our own Sound and lighting system along
with our professional backdrop. All our
equipment it PAT tested and certificates can
be supplied upon request. All we need is
electricity and a stage is always good but
not essential.

Do you have
insurance?
A
We both have £10,000,000 Public Liability
Insurance. We are also members of the Actors
and Entertainment Union - Equity.

Can we see you
perform live before we book you?
A
Due to
the nature of our act, most of our
performances are strictly private events. At
private booking we can not invite you to the
venue and likewise we would never invite
other clients to your booking/venue. Most
venues are also closed functions to which
our own guests are not allowed to attend.

What time do you
arrive and how long will it take to set-up?
A
It typically
takes about 1 hour to position everything,
including our backdrop and perform a sound
check. Depending on your requirements and
performance criteria, this may be quicker.
This is something we would need to discuss
as we frequently follow an evening meal,
therefore we would arrive early, set up and
clear the venue whilst the meal is served.

Can you provide a disco?
A
Although we do not provide a Disco or act as
a DJ, we can supply gentle background music.
We would be happy to recommend some
excellent DJs to you that we have worked
with previously.

How much space
does your performance require?
A
We are
able to fit into most spaces. We need around
3.5 meters in length, 2.5 Meters in height and
around 3 meters depth. This is very
adaptable so don't let this put you off.
This is the size of our professional
backdrop. If you have any special
requirements such as a restaurant booking as
part of an after dinner cabaret and you
don't have to much room, we don't have to
use our backdrop - We are able to
accommodate any requests.

How Much Do you Charge?
A
Prices are
dependable on
location so we
cover travel
expenses. As
each event has
its own
requirements, we
would be happy
to provide a
written
quotation upon
request.

What is the best way to book you?
A
You can book us direct (Click
here to email us) or via one if the many
reputable entertainment agencies. If you
would prefer to book via an agency, please
email us and will pass this onto our
preferred agent. If you have a regular agent
you us, just give them our details.

What type of venues do you play?
A
We perform at a variety of venues from
Hotels & Corporate Functions to Golf Clubs,
Masonic Halls, Theatres and restaurants.

Do you take requests?
A
We do not take any requests unless these are
Carpenters songs and pre-requested. We have
designed our music so The Carpenters most
famous songs are included in our
performance.
Q
What are your
personal requirements?
A
We do not have a huge list of requirements, however, a secure room
is requested for changing. This must have a
plug socket and Mirror, where we can also leave
our personal belongings. This also serves as somewhere for
us to wait until we are needed to
perform. Refreshments are not expected
although soft drinks and maybe a light bite
to eat are always very much appreciated if
available, especially if we are required to
set-up a few hours before the performance.

What happens
once I have booked you?
A
We will take all your details about the
booking and provide a contact which secures
the booking for both parties. We will
include everything in this one pack so you
have all the information you need. It
includes contact numbers for the day of the
performance (as we will be travailing to
you) Full technical sheet with will give you
our Public Liability insurance number and
Pat-Test information.
